    Description

    Made by the American Character Doll Company. RARE 1959 34 inch BETSY McCall doll playpal-size doll. Vintage. Marked AMER CHAR DOLL CO. 1959 on the back of her head. Not a reproduction.  Doll is in overall good condition. She has all her eyelashes.  Eyes open and close.  Eyes are blue/gray. Eyes are clear not cloudy.  She has all her fingers and toes.  Arms, head and limbs move freely. She does have some Scratches on her leg ( see the photo) Stringing is good. Lip color is faded. Eyebrow paint is good. No large cracks. She does have a line down the front of her chest but it does not appear to be cracked or split. Dress & Clothes included but not original to the doll. NO SHOES.  Hair is blonde with some thinning spots in the back. Doll does need a light cleaning.
