50+ year old Solid Brass Compass with Timekeeper Sundial Sun Manufacturing

This is over 50 years old and still a beautiful item.  Grand-daddy was a hunter and this was a must for him when he was hunting in unfamiliar areas where there was the possibility of getting lost.  It is made by SUN MFG, Cherry Valley, New York.
It is a compass with a sundial.  Approx 1.75 inches across. So cool! Directions are still in the lid too!
