    1987 Chevrolet C10 / R10 Custom Deluxe Short Bed
    42,000 miles (142k)
    Original fuel-injected 350ci V8
I purchased this truck in 2011 in Tennessee and have driven it on weekends since then. In that time I've put around 20k miles on it. I have never had a problem out of this truck. I've changed the oil regularly and kept it in a shop/garage during the week. The previous owner purchased the truck in Texas.
    Interior:
The previous owner added a new vinyl seat, which is still in good condition, and a new dash pad, which is also in good condition. He also added speakers in the doors and the radio is an after market pioneer. This truck has factory air but it will need to be serviced.  Fuel gauge quits working from time to time - I suspect the connection behind the cluster is loose.
    Exterior:
The mirrors are not original, but I do still have the originals. The tail lights were replaced at some point. The tailgate I have is not original - it's a gmc - but is in good shape. The wheels are from a later model truck.
There are two gas tanks but I have only ever used the driver-side tank.
    Body/Paint:
There are two rust spots in the cab floor. These are not particularly bad so I've never done anything to them, but the seals around the windows will need to be replaced if the truck will be stored outside. There's a nickel sized dent in the front bumper. The bed is mostly covered in cosmetic rust. I've treated it in the past but it will need to be prepped and painted. The only significant issue with the body is the front of the bed - the rail at the top is slightly bent (see pic).
The exterior has been primed in PPG 2K Primer. It's close to paint-ready with the exception of the bed floor.
    Engine:
This is the fuel injected (TBI) 350. It runs great. I have not made any modifications at all to the engine. I did add a temperature gauge. If you are familiar with the original custom deluxe temperature gauge, you understand why.
    Missing:
Custom Deluxe badges. Bowtie hub caps. Tailgate Chevrolet badge - (I have the aluminum insert, but the badge is missing.)  Original rear bumper.
