1950's-1960's Betsy Wetsy Vinyl Doll by Ideal 14" VW-2
This sweetheart has gorgeous blue-green sleep eyes and curly rooted saran auburn hair. The back of her neck reads "Ideal Doll VW-2". She is in wonderful condition, besides a slice in her lip and a few missing hair pieces on the right side of her forehead (Please see photos for details)
Her pink gingham dress is adorable with matching lace bloomers. When you push her tummy she makes a cry noise and is also a drink/wet doll. She did come in a trunk with some other clothing and it looks like some blue dye from the case wallpaper may have stained her toes just a little. A little added information.......I am an elderly women who has a passion for finding vintage dolls and clothing from estate and garage sales. My purchases are based on dolls or clothing that I would love for my own collection but am unable to keep every found treasure. Many of the dolls that I will be listing is from my own collection and from various estate sales or friends.
My goal is to be as accurate and forthcoming in all my listings and provide the best customer service possible. Along with finding new homes that also have a great appreciation for antique dolls.
