    Description

    Here is a beautiful 1940 Medium Landing Compass used by surveyors. It comes in the original tongue and groove wood case. The case measures 5"x5"x4" 1/2".  Leather strap in good condition. Maker is Crown A.M. Serial# 1109.H. Ref 6B/034. I believe this is made in Britain.  The compass is in a thick clear liquid and acts as a level. It also has all the points on a compass. There is some rust on the compass, but not to bad. There is a place underneath where the compass can attach to a tripod. This is a great item for your collection!!!
