    Description

    1908 NAVY STANDARD BRASS DECK DIETZ VESTA LANTERN.
    Last patent 1908, Navy Standard brass deck, Dietz Vesta lantern. The lantern is brass, there is no globe, the lid latch has come off but is still present, and there are fatigue stresses/splits in the upper dome area. The twist off font seems to be frozen for now but is close to coming off. Needs some serious TLC but always useful to parts or to restore.
